What Events Do We Offer?
There are 8 event categories/subcategories, skill demonstrative event, STAR event, education and training, hospitality and tourism, human services, visual arts, and design, real-world skills, and many others. Some popular example events from each category are fashion sketch, leadership, entrepreneurship, professional presentation, impromptu speaking, interior design, teach and train, and FCCLA/life smarts knowledge bowl. Scholarships will also be given to outstanding members.

The competitive events in FCCLA are made to help their members develop specific lifetime skills in character development, creative, and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career presentation. All of the events are categorized in different levels. Each level is graded on a different rubric based on the skill sets needed. The levels for the events are:

- Level 1 - Members through grade 8
- Level 2 - Members in grades 9 and 10
- Level 3 - Members in grades 11 and 12
- Level 4 - Postsecondary members
