When a school district decides to utilize the professional services of NCA, LLC, they accept that work is completed under professional codes of conduct and ethics and that they are adhered to at all times. These include the professional policies and ethical codes of the American Psychological Association (APA), National Association of School psychologist (NASP), and American School Counselor Association (ASCA). The NH DOE teacher code of conduct and NH Office of Professional Regulation/Board of Psychologists ethical and professional codes and rules will be followed. The Special Education regulations of the State where the work is being performed will be adhered to and professional opinions will be offered within this context.
In cases of work assignments which arise from mediation, any work requests must include the information required to best perform the work to include - but not limited to - all relevant student files, past evaluations and meeting minutes, the mediation agreement that applies to the work being assigned, as well as the basic gist / origin of the agreement.
Work involving students placed out of district in NH, VT, and MA is welcome.
Please note that NCA, LLC strives to avoid assumptions, predetermination, and cognitive bias in every evaluation. We do this by conducting thorough file reviews, gathering both qualitative and quantitative data from numerous stakeholders, and offer our professional opinion only after the evaluation is complete with a formal report produced.
