Provides leadership for the PTO, oversees meetings, coordinates board members and committees, supports teachers, and helps ensure all PTO events run smoothly.
Yelena Wasser
Supports the President and Executive Board and helps guide PTO decisions and initiatives. This role typically serves as Vice President for one year, followed by two years as President or Co-President.
Jennifer Leavitt
Manages the PTO budget and finances, tracking income and expenses to ensure that funds are handled responsibly. Prepares financial reports and ensures funds are handled responsibly.

The Communications team keeps families informed through Instagram, Facebook, and other PTO communications. Records meeting minutes, maintains PTO files, and updates the school bulletin board.

The fundraising Co-Chairs plan and coordinate PTO fundraising efforts. Collaborates with event chairs, and helps achieve fundraising goals that support our school.

The In-School Enrichment Co-Chairs create enriching learning opportunities for Norfeldt students, such as author visits, cultural programs, STEAM activities, and classroom experiences. Researches and proposes programs, coordinates logistics and scheduling, works with school staff and vendors, and helps ensure activities are accessible and inclusive for all students.

Coordinates after-school enrichment programs by working with vendors, the school, and families to organize registration, scheduling, and communication.

Promotes inclusion by helping ensure PTO events are accessible to all families, supports accommodation requests, and serves as the liaison to the district's Special Education PTO.

Hospitality Co-Chairs plan and coordinate PTO hospitality events that celebrate and support Norfeldt staff and families, including first-day coffee for caregivers, conference-week lunches, Educator Appreciation Week, and other PTO-sponsored hospitality events.

Supporting our EDI committee by planning meaningful events for the Norfeldt community, including our beloved Celebrate Norfeldt in the spring.
