EDI Committee

The purpose of the Norfeldt EDI is to create a collaborative and supportive space for parents, edcators, and community members.   We aim to facilitate a community- centric group that listens, learns, and takes action on equity initiatives for systemic change that will  ensure all children have full access to opportunities for educational and social success at Norfeldt.   

How we work toward out goals: 

LEARN

Share learning with caregivers through safe and open group discussions, presentations, and provide resources for individual learning. These opportunities aim to help caregivers in their growth, as well as provide guidance to help their children’s learning around equity, diversity, inclusion and antiracism.

CELEBRATE

Plan and execute fun ways to unify the Norfeldt Community to bring awareness, understanding and celebrate our diverse families.

SUPPORT & ADVOCATE

Support and advocacy may be accomplished in many ways– on an individual level, at the district level, and all things in between. We look to provide peer support to families who need help navigating Norfeldt. Additionally, we lend our voices to advocate for equity and justice for all students in the Community.
