As you know the registration time limits for the Selfoss gathering was December 31st. 2021. Now it is clear that we have enough participants to keep the gathering unless something according to the Covid situation doesn’t change for the worse.

We have contacted the hotel in Selfoss and they have agreed to keep some rooms until March 1st 2022. If the registration will fill them all we can’t guarantee accommodation at Hotel Selfoss but there are other possibilities in Selfoss which we will use as a solution if it comes to that. All distances are short.

According to our specialists, doctors and government it is a common belief that the Covid wave in Iceland at the moment will be more and less over at the beginning of March.

Current border regulations have no restrictions for people traveling from the Nordic countries or Europe to travel and stay in Iceland as long as they are vaccinated and have a negative PCR test. New regulations for the summer will probably be given in March and are believed to be more flexible.

Due to all this uncertainty we have decided to extend all payments for the gathering until March 1st 2022.

Dear friends in fellowship

Due to the world wide situation of the Corona virus the NSGF of the Icelandic

guilds have taken the decision to postpone the NBSR gathering that was supposed

to be at Selfoss Iceland in May 2021. This decision was taken after consulting all

NSGFS within NBSR.

We have booked the same hotel in Selfoss the 26th - 30th of May 2022.

All information, price and registration form will be updated.

It will of course depend on the outcome and development of the Corona virus

through the world if this will be possible in 2022.
