In my undergraduate experience at UGA's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, I was able to pursue a multitude of video projects, which fulfilled my lifelong interest in making creative, enriching media. Most of my work is done in the editing suite, where I spend a ridiculous amount of time in Davinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro putting my own visual spin on the content I produce. My interests and skills in video editing come from a childhood of home movies, video edits of friends, and unnecessarily intricate video projects for my K-12 classes. I was able to pursue these passions professionally through my Grady coursework, where I gained deeper understandings and routine practice with advanced editing software. My English degree program also found its way into my videography through the occasional creative project, where I was able to make multiple mixed media animation adaptations. 

In my undergrad, doing video work was a revival of my artistic inclinations as a child. Now, as my professional interests pertain to information access and media preservation, I bring my video production and post-production skills to community outreach media creation, visual design for digital information, data visualization, and the overall incorporation of interactive, meaningful, and transformative visuals to my career.
