Trauma-Informed Integrative Therapy
Self-Trust
Find Safety
Understand your triggers. It is hard to heal without knowing exactly what you are healing from. The more awareness you have around how your past experiences affects the present the better you can show up for yourself compassionately and empathetically. By giving your feelings space, you can start to create more safety in yourself.
Self-compassion
How do you talk to yourself in your mind? Is your voice kind or critical? We can work together to cultivate a practice to actively befriend your inner critic with compassion and kind thoughts towards self.
Increase self-trust
The more you trust yourself, the more confident you will feel. To increase self-trust, we can work together to reconnect with your emotions as valuable pieces of information. This helps to increase your ability to identify your needs and build courage making decisions.
Develop Resources
Together we can learn about your strengths and practice coping skills to attend to emotional triggers. Through this process you will uncover what is important to you and how your values may guide you in making decisions. By figuring out what is important to you, your desires and priorities will get the attention they deserve. How can you let your desires take up more space in your life?
