The people in Shishmaref feel the effects of climate change that are putting their livelihood and land in jeopardy. Does this surprise you? Are there ways that climate change is directly impacting your life? Do you foresee it doing so more in the future?
Hearing a fuller picture of the life of people in Shishmaref helps push back against the danger of a single story that tokenize people for a cause. Do you recognize this happening in other justice issues?
Spring and the season of resurrection is here - brining death to some things and life to others. Where have you seen this theme of resurrection in your life and in the world?
