My research focuses on the role of immersive technologies in creating equitable STEM learning opportunities for multilingual and rural learners. I have presented this work nationally and internationally, and highlighted both its scholarly contribution and practical classroom applications.

At SITE( 2025), I presented my study that examines how professional development shapes teachers’ readiness to adopt immersive technologies. This presentation highlighted both the pedagogical impact of VR in STEM classrooms and the practical challenges of implementation. In my presentation, I emphasized the importance of equity and teacher preparation in educational technology research.

CAPITOL GRADUATE RESEARCH SUMMIT (2025)
I shared my work on VR-based teacher training with Kansas legislators. I highlighted how immersive professional development can strengthen teacher preparation and retention, especially in rural and underserved schools, and pointed to the broader potential of emerging technologies to meet state education needs.
