Vivian Zhang is an incoming senior at Del Norte High School. As a citizen of San Diego, she feels responsible to help maintain the operation of the community. She joined Non-Toxic San Diego to keep beaches, parks, and neighborhoods clean because San Diego is her home.

Derek Su is an incoming junior at Canyon Crest Academy. He joined Non-Toxic San Diego to protect his local species and ecosystems. He is currently researching government funding, binational agreements, and policies addressing the Tijuana River Sewage crisis.

Grace Ye is an incoming senior at Del Norte High School. She joined Non Toxic San Diego to learn more about the Tijuana River sewage crisis, its negative impact on the nearby environment and communities, and ways to help resolve it. For the forthcoming documentary, Grace is researching the environmental consequences of the Tijuana River’s pollution.

Sherilyn Li is an incoming junior at the Bishop’s School. She joined Non-Toxic San Diego to learn and spread awareness about the Tijuana River pollution’s effects on human health, the economies of nearby communities, and potential solutions. For the forthcoming documentary, Sherilyn is researching stormwater and the overloaded government water treatment infrastructure.
