The Tijuana River Crisis has never been as severe as it is now. We are creating a documentary to raise awareness and amplify the voices of those who breathe in sewage every day. This work will cover the issue’s history; environmental, economic, health, and political impacts; and potential solutions. It will include interviews of politicians, activists, researchers, residents, and local business owners.

We strive to become informed citizens by keeping ourselves up-to-date on major global environmental issues. We share our knowledge through our newsletter, which we publish every two or three months. Our areas of focus are as varied as algal blooms, renewable energy, and sewage pollution in the Tijuana River.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed. The San Diego Union Tribune included Non-Toxic San Diego in an article about San Diego teens’ responses to pollution in the Tijuana River.
