These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nomi mobile application and related services operated by Area13 Studio (“Area13 Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Nomi, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Nomi.
Nomi is a recipe, meal-planning, menu-planning, shopping, cooking-workflow, and food-assistance application.
Depending on the feature used, Nomi may:
suggest recipes based on ingredients;
create or randomize menus;
help plan meals for guests;
provide shopping and cooking workflows;
save menus;
export supported content as PDF;
provide AI-assisted food and recipe responses through Ask Nomi.
Nomi is a planning and informational tool. It is not a medical, dietary, nutritional, allergy, food-safety, or other professional service.
At launch, the intended Free limits are:
Cook With What I Have: 5 successful generations per day;
Plan a Table: 3 successful plans per week;
Randomize a Menu: 5 successful generations per day;
Surprise Me: 3 successful generations per day;
Ask Nomi: 5 successful AI requests per month;
Saved Menus: up to 5;
PDF Exports: up to 2 per month.
Shopping-list functionality, serving adjustment, supported app languages, accessibility-related text sizing, and core food-safety/dietary controls are not intended to require Nomi Pro solely for access.
Nomi Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that provides higher usage limits.
At launch, the intended Pro limits are:
Cook With What I Have: 12 successful generations per day;
Plan a Table: 12 successful plans per week;
Randomize a Menu: 12 successful generations per day;
Surprise Me: 8 successful generations per day;
Ask Nomi: 5 successful AI requests per day;
Saved Menus: up to 50;
PDF Exports: up to 15 per month.
Nomi Pro is not described as unlimited.
The intended U.S. reference pricing at launch is:
Monthly Nomi Pro: US$3.99 per month;
Yearly Nomi Pro: US$29.99 per year.
Actual prices vary by App Store storefront, currency, tax treatment, and Apple’s localized pricing.
The price shown by Apple in the App Store purchase interface is the price that applies to your purchase.
Nomi Pro is purchased through Apple’s App Store and is billed to your Apple Account.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the applicable renewal date in accordance with Apple’s subscription terms and settings.
Apple handles billing, renewal, payment methods, receipts, refunds, and subscription-management functionality.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings.
Deleting Nomi does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Nomi provides a Restore Purchases function where supported.
Restoring purchases does not create a new charge. It asks Apple and the subscription infrastructure to restore an eligible active entitlement associated with your Apple Account.
We may change Nomi’s pricing, plan structure, included features, or usage limits in the future.
Any subscription price change will be handled through Apple and applicable App Store rules, including any notice or consent Apple requires.
We will not intentionally remove access already owed to you for a paid subscription period without providing the access, remedy, or other treatment required by applicable law and Apple’s rules.
Ask Nomi may use automated systems and artificial intelligence to generate recipe or food-related responses.
AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific circumstances.
You should not rely on Ask Nomi as the sole source for:
allergy safety;
medical diets;
food-drug interactions;
foodborne-illness risk;
cooking temperatures;
pregnancy-related food restrictions;
infant or child nutrition;
professional nutrition advice;
diagnosis or treatment of a health condition.
Always verify important food-safety, allergy, and health information using authoritative sources or a qualified professional.
Ask Nomi may be rate-limited or temporarily unavailable for security, cost-control, abuse-prevention, maintenance, or provider-availability reasons.
Nomi may allow you to select dietary preferences, ingredient exclusions, or allergy-related restrictions.
These tools are intended to assist planning, but no automated system can guarantee that a recipe, ingredient, generated response, restaurant item, packaged product, or preparation environment is free from a particular allergen or cross-contamination risk.
You are responsible for checking ingredient labels, preparation methods, allergens, and suitability before consuming food.
Any calories, macronutrients, serving values, or other nutrition estimates displayed by Nomi are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Actual nutritional values vary based on ingredients, brands, quantities, preparation methods, serving sizes, and substitutions.
Nomi nutrition information is not professional medical or dietary advice.
You are responsible for information you enter into Nomi and for deciding what information to save.
Core V1 functionality may store certain content locally on your device rather than in a user account.
You are responsible for maintaining device backups where appropriate.
You may not:
abuse, attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with Nomi or its backend systems except where applicable law expressly permits such activity;
attempt to bypass Free or Pro usage limits;
rotate identifiers or automate requests to evade rate limits;
obtain or attempt to obtain server credentials, API secrets, or unauthorized access;
use Nomi to violate law or the rights of others;
resell or commercially redistribute Nomi access without written permission.
We may restrict or suspend access to networked features when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, service providers, or costs.
Nomi, its branding, user-interface elements, original software, documentation, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Area13 Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Recipes, food names, factual information, third-party content, and user-provided material may be subject to separate rights and are not claimed by us merely because they appear in Nomi.
Nomi relies on third-party services that may include Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, and OpenAI.
Availability of networked features may depend on those services.
Your use of Apple services and App Store purchases is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Nomi.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available without interruption.
We may change recipe libraries, supported AI models, providers, technical architecture, usage limits, or feature availability when reasonably necessary for security, quality, cost, legal compliance, or product development.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nomi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
every recipe or generated response will be correct;
every recipe will be suitable for your dietary or medical needs;
estimated nutrition information will be exact;
every feature will be uninterrupted or error-free;
third-party services will always be available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Area13 Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of Nomi.
Where applicable law does not permit a particular limitation or exclusion, that limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You may stop using Nomi at any time.
We may restrict access to networked features if you materially violate these Terms, abuse infrastructure, attempt to bypass limits, or create security or legal risk.
Termination of app access does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without excluding any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region.
Any dispute will be handled by the courts and authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.
We may update these Terms as Nomi changes.
For material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required by law.
