Nomads of the Messiah
Below you will find some of the current missions we are dedicated to in the name of the LORD God.
The Exodus Fellowship
The Exodus Fellowship provides funds, community support, and educational resources for widows, the fatherless, and foreigners living in the United States of America. It is a direct response to the commandments of the Lord, as given in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, and repteatedly in other scriptures, including those of the Gospel of Yeshua (Jesus).
The Exodus Fellowship remembers the words of the Lord to not oppress the foreigner for we were once foreigners in Egypt. This commandment was given to the Israelites after leaving Egypt and entering the promised land of Israel. It is repeated over and over again in the Bible. The Lord also tells us to not mistreat or oppress widows or the fatherless for He will hear their pleas and answer if they cry out to Him. Following this commandment from the Lord and recognizing the immense love that He has filled us with towards widows, the fatherless, and foreigners we have set out to create a fellowship that will show the blessings and the glory of the Lord in defending those He loves.
In answering this call of the Lord, The Exodus Fellowship has been developed to provide needed support for widows, single mothers with children under the age of 7, and immigrants experiencing severe financial need. The fellowship can be used to cover necessary survival expenses, such as rent, food, utilities, medications, etc. for the recipient and their dependents. The Exodus Fellowship funds can also be used for a specific goal or project which will improve the lives of the recipient or their dependents. In addition to financial support, the fellowship also provides recipients with a community of support to help them through the hardship they may be facing at the time of entering the fellowship. This will include being a part of ongoing future support groups with other individuals who have lived through similar situations.
Your generosity is what makes this fellowship possible! Your money is going directly to those in need of safe housing and shelter. This mission is in the name of Yeshua (Jesus), our Lord and Savior.
The Exodus Fellowship is a direct response to the call of God. The scriptures, both from the Old Testament and New Testament, are clear as to our responsibilities to widows, the fatherless, and foreigners.
"For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt. Fear the Lord your God and serve him." - Deuteronomy 10:17
"Do not mistreat a foreigner or oppress him, for you were foreigners in Egypt. Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless." - Exodus 22:21-24
"The foreigner who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the foreigner as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." - Leviticus 19:34
“This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’” - Zechariah 7:9-10
"When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God." - Leviticus 19:9
“You shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the aliens who reside among you and have begotten children among you. They shall be to you as citizens of Israel; with you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel.” -Ezekiel 47:22
“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.” - Mark 9:37
Yeshua said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" - Matthew 25:35

This fellowship has been created in honor of Raul Valdez De La Torre, a loved father, husband, son, brother, and friend. Raul entered into the presence of the Lord in heaven on February 17, 2024. Raul was an immigrant in the United States and worked his entire life to provide for his wife and children, including for one of our founders. Through his departure from this Earth, we learned that the Lord truly loves and defends the cause of the fatherless, the widow, and the foreigner. We, as a ministry, are called to serve as the body of Yeshua (Jesus) on Earth and provide for those whom He loves immensely.
