Local Resources
Montana World Affairs Council (MWAC)
Brings diplomats and global experts to Montana classrooms; runs Academic WorldQuest (statewide HS competition + speaker sessions + virtual exchange pieces) and shares ready-to-teach resources.
WorldMontana - Global Ties U.S. affiliate
They bring professionals from around the world to Montana through a U.S. State Department exchange program. These guests often visit schools for Q&As—great for meeting global leaders, building “people-to-people” diplomacy skills, and exploring career paths.
Annual two-day MUN conference for HS delegates (research, policy writing, public speaking, negotiation) with training materials your class can use ahead of time.
Mansfield Center (UM) — High School Programs
Programs for Montana teens about real-world global issues—talks, workshops, and leadership events. They can also send guest speakers to our class, and there are extra opportunities you can join to build skills and make connections.
