紐奧良台灣同鄉會是一個非營利事業的組織, 其宗旨在服務路易斯安那州紐奧良地區的所有台灣僑民, 促進台灣鄉親彼此友誼, 聯絡感情, 鼓勵本地台灣鄉親與美國本地各社團的文化交流, 協調, 及促進並參與區域性及全美性台灣人的組織. 本會之理事及幹部皆為義務性之職位. 入會資格: 凡是在台灣出生或認同台灣之人士皆可申請加入同鄉會。同鄉會年度重要活動包括農曆新年慶祝活動, 母親節聯歡會, 中秋節聯歡會等等。 另外, 不定期有關政治, 學術, 文化, 商業座談聚會及與其他社團合辦活動。
The Taiwanese Association of New Orleans (TANO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Taiwanese-American community in the Greater New Orleans area. The Association's mission is to advocate for the well-being and interests of the Taiwanese community, fostering a deeper appreciation for Taiwanese culture and heritage in the United States.
All board members of the Association are volunteers. Membership qualification: People who were born in Taiwan or those who identify with Taiwan can apply to join the Association.
