Nohelani M. Etienne is a Claims Team Manager with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in the Casualty department. She’s been with the company 15 years this September and currently manages a team of seven adjusters to ensure that injury claims arising from an automobile accident are handled proactively – with both compassion and empathy.
Nohelani's roots in the community are evidenced by her work with Miracle on Craig Street and the Hamilton Hill Arts Center. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Northeastern New York. Most importantly, Nohelani is a dedicated mother who actively supports her children's education through extensive involvement in a multitude of learning, extracurricular and athletic activities.
Nohelani's passion for education began in Schenectady City Schools. She graduated from Schenectady High School in 1998 and went on to gain her Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Sociology with a minor in Africana Studies at the State University of New York at Albany in 2002. She is the mother of four amazing children, who range in age from 21 to 10. She has one son and three daughters who possess vastly different personalities and keep her on her toes. Nohelani’s interests aside from spending time with her family, are traveling to new places, leisurely reading and spending time with her newest family member Lola; a Maltipoo her family adopted in February.
