No One is an Island is a community-driven coalition space building and furthering efforts to strive for a more environmentally just St. Croix.

General Coalition meetings are open to ALL! In this meeting, we discuss community concerns, provide ongoing campaign updates, and brainstorm ways WE can take action.

In order to make NOI General Meetings more accessible to all, we will be offering both virtual and in-person options.

Virtual General Meetings:  Held the 1st Wednesday of each month from 6pm-7:30pm via Zoom

In-Person General Meetings: Held the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am-11:30am at Farmer’s Market

About St. Croix Environmental Association

Known locally as SEA, we are a member-driven organization committed to protecting and conserving our beautiful island environment. St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands and is surrounded by turquoise waters and some of the most colorful coral reefs in the Caribbean.

SEA was formed as a grassroots organization in 1986. By creating innovative environmental education programs for children and adults, sponsoring engaging activities and remaining vigilant in seeking compliance with local and federal environmental regulations, the St. Croix Environmental Association continues to provide leadership for a healthy and sustainable environment.

About Jade M. Algarín Corcino - Coalition Coordinator

Jade (they/she) is the Community Organizer at SEA. While a newer community member to St. Croix, Jade is at home in the Caribbean as a native of Vieques. Their work exists at the intersection of justice, climate, and food/agriculture as a former Soil Conservationist at the USDA-NRCS and former co-founder and training lead for the Latine-wing of the Sunrise Movement, Somos Sunrise. Jade aims to uplift and center the experiences of frontline, marginalized, and agricultural communities as change makers in the fight for environmental justice and in our collective understanding of the climate crisis.
