Description: Demolition of more than 50% of the primary facade at a Contributing rated, raised basement, multi-family residential building. 

Staff Recommendations: 

FEMA survey research estimates that  624 Webster was constructed from 1920-1930. The raised basement, two-family Craftsman style building has an atypical entry sequence with the entries in the center and no sidelights. The proposed project seeks relocate and salvage several windows and doors with total demolition/encapsulation hitting 65%. Staff recommends approval of the façade demolition with the proviso that the single front door shall be centered with sidelights with the ganged windows both sides.
