Delete your Curious Sheep account

You can request deletion without installing the app.

Email neymanoff@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Curious Sheep account, using the email address associated with your Google sign-in in the app.

We verify account ownership and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation. We email you when it is complete. If you cannot access your account email, contact us for help.

What is deleted

We delete your Curious Sheep sign-in account and associated data held by NNOff, including any synchronized profile, dictionary, learning results, reading progress, access record and book-download limit record. Your Google account is not deleted. Signing in again after deletion creates a new Curious Sheep account.

Data on your devices

Saved words, reading progress, preferences and pronunciation recordings also have local device copies. Optional progress synchronization creates a separate cloud copy; signing out or deleting a downloaded book does not delete it. An email request does not remotely erase your phone or device backups. To remove local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → Curious Sheep → Storage → Clear data on each device. Names vary by device. This removes all Curious Sheep progress on that device, including guest and other local account data. Clearing local data alone does not delete your sign-in account or synchronized cloud data.

Device backups are managed through your device and backup provider. Firebase Authentication describes removal of authentication data from its live and backup systems within 180 days after deletion is initiated. See Firebase privacy information.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your Curious Sheep account does not cancel a Google Play subscription or stop renewal. Cancel renewal separately in Google Play's subscription settings. Google keeps its payment records under its own terms and privacy policies; this request does not delete your Google account.

Our support process also removes active subscription and purchase-binding records. A minimal hashed deleted-account guard can remain to stop late requests or notifications from restoring deleted data; it does not contain saved words, recordings, email or purchase tokens.

Request records

NNOff deletes correspondence about your deletion request within 30 days after completing it. This is separate from Firebase's authentication-data retention described above.
