About FBA Membership
This is a sanctioned event, which means every competing team needs a current Florida BBQ Association membership, if you are participating in the main sanctioned competition. If you've competed in Florida before, you likely already have one. If this is your first contest, you'll join FBA separately from your festival entry — it isn't included in the $100.

Cooks: People's Choice is optional, but it's the best way to get your barbecue in front of a few hundred people who came specifically to eat it.
