sectionals - Distance Learning update

** Students will be expected to join a google meet sectional at least once a week for their instrument. You can email Mr. Rivera at arivera@d187.org for questions. It is crucial your student is using time at home to practice!**

Students are required to attend before school lessons with their sections guided by Mr. Rivera once a week. Each sectional will be 20 minutes long and will allow students to learn instrument specific techniques with their peers. Make-up sectionals must be coordinated with Mr. Rivera. Breakfast will be available after sectionals in the cafeteria.

Private Lessons Policy

Students who take private lessons will learn fundamental skills pertaining to their instrument that cannot be covered during full band. Contact Mr. Rivera if you are interested in signing your student up for private lessons. The choice to take private lessons is up to the family and is an added expense not covered by your enrollment in band.
