Phosphate Buffer

1, Sodium phosphate buffer (PB) 10 times higher

1 M phosphate, 5mM TSP, and 0.5% Sodium Azide in water

For 50 ml

NaH₂PO₄ 1.3558 g

Na₂HPO₄ 5.4946 g

TSP 0.036 g

NaN₃ 0.25 g

Use D2O to make a total volume of 50 mL. The pH of the final solution will be 7.4.

The stock solution can be frozen for future use. The buffer may precipitate under room temperature.
