Bosque Tree Planting

Saturday, March 14th @ 9:00 a.m.  Below is some information sent to me from Jonathan at the Open Space Division.

The area we have is a burn scar west of the Tingley Ponds that needs some replanting with Cottonwoods and Willows.  We will be able to park  in some of the Tingley Beach parking lots and it is a short walk in from there.  There will be auguring involved but the water table in this area is pretty shallow so it shouldn’t take too much effort. 

The capacity for tree planting on March 14th is ~30 volunteers.  Contact Daryl if interested.
