Alyssa Allen is a graduate student at NMHU working on her MS in Clinical Psychology and planning on pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology in the future. From Albuquerque, NM, she graduated from UNM in 2014 with her B.S. in psychology. Here interests include thereputic approaches to treat complex PTSD in first-responders, folkloic beliefs, and influences on community identity, childhood trauma, and developing resilience and other positive coping skills in adulthood.
