Gray's Appliances
In 1928, Gordon Gray opened the Gordon Gray Radio Store at 230 Main Street, in the location where Frontier Flowers is now located. Gordon moved his business "down the street" in 1933, to 234 Main Street, the present location of the Main St. Motel. He renamed his store Gray's Hardwareteria, and began selling ice boxes, electric fridges, and ranges, amongst the typical hardware store stock.
In 1945, Gordon moved his business to this location, 185 King Street. Gordon changed the name of his business for a final time, renaming it Gray's Appliances. He sold his hardware store to the Love family. In 1951, Gray expanded his business into the space next door, which had been occupied by Willis' Pool Hall. The business continued until at least 1984.
The building was most recently occupied by the Damen Optimal Health Team prior to their move to the arena in 2025.
