The Parkhill Creamery
This site was the west half of Noble Block. It was one of the many locations of the post office, which moved across the street to the new federal building in 1909.
The building sat vacant until 1928, when Clare and Manfred Pennington purchased the building and started a poultry business. The business soon expanded to include a creamery, and would be known as the Parkhill Creamery. In the late 1930s the creamery moved to the old Schafer Hotel down the street, and this location became the egg-grading station and produce centre, which remained until the business closed in 1963.
The building has since been renovated for office and residential spaces, and at one time housed the practices of Dr. Lori Teeple and Dr. Andrew Whynot.
