Parkhill Fire Department
Parkhill’s first fire hall was believed to be somewhere on Broadway St.
In 1893, a fire hall was constructed in the back of the town hall (where the post office is now) as was common for many small communities at the time. When the old town hall was torn down in 1969, a new fire hall was needed. The town purchased an old White Rose Gas Station which provided the fire department with two truck bays and a large water line.
After amalgamation in 2001, the Parkhill Fire Department became the North Middlesex Fire Department, Parkhill Station.
The old fire hall was torn down in 2023 and the Parkhill Station moved down the street into a much larger, modern facility, shared with Middlesex-London Paramedic Services.
