Tau Beta Pi offers three items of graduation regalia: stole, cords, and tassel. To save our members the cost of shipping fees, our chapter orders these items for them as a chapter order. Active members receive discounts on items to reward them for their activity: those who are active their final semester receive a discount on the stole, and members who have been active since they were initiated receive discounts on the tassel and cord. These discounts are equal to the discount the chapter receives on these items through bulk orders. Stoles cost $24 or $21 with the discount, Cords cost $13 or $11 with the discount, and the Tassel costs $7 or $5 with the discount. Money made from members who purchased through the chapter without those discounts will be spent on shipping expenses.
At the beginning of each semester, members will receive an email asking for those graduating that semester to notify us of their upcoming graduation. Later into the semester, those graduating members will then receive an email asking for what specific items they would like to purchase through the chapter.
