I am always looking for highly motivated MTech and PhD applicants interested in data analytics, information retrieval, natural language processing, and machine translation. 

Note to PhD applicants

Before you contact me, please read the note below. 

I expect ideal applicant to have a strong breadth and depth of knowledge in Computing Science, letters of recommendation from at-least two professors/mentors (who know your work), and proficiency in English. 

I can express my support for your application, but only if you provide me evidence that you are both qualified and interested or if you are recommended to me by a colleague whom I know and trust. Please note I do not respond to mass email requests for admission.

If you want my support, please send me a personalized email describing your proficiency with data analytics, information retrieval, or natural language processing. It is OK to talk about a single project--pick the one you are most proud of. 

If you are interested in the PhD program, please read one of my papers or the papers that I cite, and explain something you find interesting there, what you would like to study further, and why.
