Medium: Stoneware Clay

Description: These are plates of various sizes, and patterns that have hand-painted on underglze, with a consistent theme. I made these to bring awareness to the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Palestine. The olive branches are being used as a symbol of Palestinian history and soil.

The 5 Pillars

Description: I created this piece to represent the 5 pillars of Islam, Shahada, Salah, Zakat, Sawm, and Hajj, and then strung a rope with the meaning of each pillar.
