Parents and Players

Players

All players are required to wear full hockey equipment including a mouth guard. (Hockey helmet with a cage or full visor, shin pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, neck guard, mouth-guard, skates, hockey gloves, hockey pants and a cup.)

Players must provide their own jersey and hockey stick.

Players who do not have the appropriate equipment will not be allowed on the ice until they have acquired the appropriate gear.

Players who are displaying behavior that is disrespectful or unsafe to the coaches or other players may be asked to leave the ice at the coaches discretion. If there are repeated incidents or incidents unsafe to others players may be removed from the program without reimbursement.

Parents/guardians

Parents/guardians are expected to have a representative available during their child’s ice time in case of emergency. Any complaints need to be directed to the Rec Hockey board member or the Rec Hockey coordinator. Parents are not to direct complaints to coaches directly.

Parents must give a valid email address so that the Rec Hockey committee can communicate important information quickly and clearly.
