The PACK Program is built on a dynamic pyramid structure that ensures opportunities for students at various experience levels:
Open to all NIU majors and students at any level. Association members foster engagement through weekly meetings in the College of Business (Barsema Hall) that feature discussions, presentations, workshops, and hypothetical portfolio competitions. Ambassadors & Apprentices
Open to all NIU majors and students at any level. Ambassadors and Apprentices earn points by participating in activities and completing tasks. Ambassadors (Apprentices) must complete 1000 (2500) outreach and technical skills points each in a given semester. Contingent upon space, apprentices may register for a 1 credit hour independent student and shadow Analysts. Participants may be eligible for quarter zips, digital badges, Passport credit, and free access to Bloomberg terminals, Excel certification, and DataCamp modules. May be repeated across multiple semesters.
Competitive entry course open to NIU seniors and graduate students. Manage multiple portfolios, from a $75k portfolio in which analysts day trade stock options using technical analysis to a $1.5mn portfolio in which analysts select stocks using fundamental analysis.
