These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NityaDharma mobile application ("App"), provided by Back2Basics ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
NityaDharma is a spiritual, devotional, and educational application designed to help users engage with Hindu spiritual and devotional practices.
The App may provide features including:
Panchang information
Festival and observance information
Devotional prayers and scriptures
Aarti, Chalisa, Stotra, Mantra and other devotional content
Sadhana, Jap and Dhyan features
Spiritual routines and challenges
Progress tracking
Reminders and notifications
Educational and spiritual guidance
Premium devotional features
Features may change, expand, or be removed as the App evolves.
NityaDharma provides spiritual, devotional, cultural, and educational content for general informational and personal devotional use.
Hindu traditions, practices, interpretations, calendars, rituals, scriptures, festival observances, and regional customs may differ between traditions, communities, locations, and spiritual lineages.
NityaDharma does not claim that any particular interpretation or practice presented in the App is the only valid interpretation or practice.
Users are encouraged to follow their family traditions, local customs, spiritual teachers, priests, or other trusted sources where appropriate.
NityaDharma may provide information relating to Panchang, Tithi, Nakshatra, festivals, observances, Muhurat and other calendar-based spiritual information.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information. However, calculations and observances may vary according to location, astronomical methodology, regional tradition, calendar system, or other factors.
Accordingly, Panchang, festival, Muhurat and related information should be treated as informational guidance.
For important religious ceremonies, significant rituals or other time-sensitive religious activities, users may wish to verify information with an appropriate local Panchang, priest, spiritual authority, or other trusted source.
Information provided through NityaDharma is for spiritual, devotional, cultural, educational, and informational purposes.
The App does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological or other regulated professional advice.
Nothing contained in NityaDharma should be used as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional when such advice is required.
NityaDharma may provide tools for Sadhana, Jap, meditation, spiritual routines, challenges, progress tracking and similar practices.
These features are intended to assist users with their personal spiritual practice.
Results, experiences or benefits from spiritual practices are personal and may vary between individuals. NityaDharma does not guarantee any particular spiritual, physical, emotional, financial or other outcome from using these features.
Users remain responsible for deciding which spiritual practices are appropriate for them.
NityaDharma may provide an optional Voice Jap feature that uses microphone access to assist with Jap counting.
Microphone permission is requested only when functionality requiring microphone access is used.
According to the App's current implementation, Voice Jap input is processed locally on the user's device and NityaDharma does not collect, upload, transmit, store, or share voice recordings or microphone audio.
Voice Jap is an assistive feature. Speech recognition and Jap counting may not always be completely accurate due to pronunciation, background noise, device capabilities or other technical factors.
Users may use Jap functionality without Voice Jap where alternative counting functionality is available.

NityaDharma may allow users to configure devotional reminders and notifications.
Delivery of notifications may depend on Android permissions, device settings, battery optimization, operating-system behavior, device manufacturer restrictions and other factors outside our control.
We therefore cannot guarantee that every notification or reminder will be delivered at an exact time or under all circumstances.
Users should not rely solely on NityaDharma reminders for matters where failure or delay could result in significant harm or loss.
Certain information generated through the App, including preferences, devotional activity, progress, favorites, reminders and related information, may be stored locally on the user's device.
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate control of their device and any available backups.
Clearing application data, uninstalling the App, changing devices, device failure or other circumstances may result in loss of locally stored information.
Where backup, restore, export or similar functionality is available, users remain responsible for appropriately maintaining any copies they wish to preserve.

NityaDharma may provide premium features through subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other purchase options offered through Google Play.
Prices, subscription periods, introductory offers, free trials, and other purchase terms, where applicable, will be displayed through the App or Google Play before purchase.
Payments are processed through Google Play and are subject to the applicable Google Play terms and payment policies.
NityaDharma does not directly process or store users' payment-card details.
Where a premium product is offered as an automatically renewing subscription, it may renew according to the subscription terms presented through Google Play unless cancelled in accordance with Google Play's applicable procedures.
Users can manage or cancel applicable subscriptions through their Google Play account.
Deleting or uninstalling NityaDharma does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play subscription.
Any applicable refunds are handled according to Google Play policies and applicable law.
By using NityaDharma, you agree to:
Use the App only for lawful purposes.
Use the App in a manner that does not interfere with its operation.
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services associated with the App.
Not misuse, disrupt or intentionally damage the App.
Not use the App in a manner that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may not improperly copy, redistribute, exploit, circumvent protections in, or reverse engineer proprietary portions of the App.
The NityaDharma application, including its original software, branding, interface, graphics, logos, design elements and original content, is owned by or licensed to Back2Basics, except where otherwise stated.
Certain scriptures, traditional prayers, verses, religious works or other materials may originate from traditional, public-domain, licensed or third-party sources. Nothing in these Terms is intended to claim ownership over material that is lawfully in the public domain or owned by others.
NityaDharma's original selection, presentation, design, translations, commentary, organization, software and other proprietary material remain protected to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Unauthorized commercial reproduction or distribution of protected NityaDharma material is prohibited.
NityaDharma may use third-party services, including services provided by Google and Firebase, to support functionality such as analytics, crash reporting, app distribution and purchases.
Use of those services may also be governed by the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability or policies of third-party services.
We aim to maintain and improve NityaDharma but cannot guarantee that the App or every feature will always be available without interruption or error.
We may periodically:
Add new features
Modify existing features
Correct content or calculations
Update devotional material
Change the user interface
Modify premium offerings
Suspend or discontinue features
Updates may sometimes be required to continue using particular functionality.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, NityaDharma is provided on an "as available" basis.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain quality, accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that:
The App will always operate without errors.
All content will always be complete or error-free.
Every reminder will be delivered successfully.
Speech recognition will always be accurate.
Panchang or calendar information will correspond to every regional tradition or methodology.
The App will be compatible with every Android device or future Android version.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Back2Basics will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or similar losses arising from the use of or inability to use NityaDharma.
This may include losses resulting from service interruption, device problems, loss of locally stored app data, missed notifications, or reliance on informational content provided by the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Your use of NityaDharma is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information is processed, collected, used and protected in connection with the App.
We reserve the right to restrict access to functionality where reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, our services, or comply with legal requirements.
Users may stop using NityaDharma at any time by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in NityaDharma, applicable requirements, services or business practices.
Updated Terms will be published with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued use of the App after updated Terms become applicable constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply to users under the laws of their jurisdiction.
