Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education
The Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) program is designed to equip future teachers who will be teaching the Technology and Livelihood Education subjects for Grades 4 to 8 in the basic education.
Demonstrate the competencies required of the Philippines TVET Trainee-Assessor Qualification Framework.
Demonstrate broad, meaningful and coherent knowledge and skill in any of the specific fields in technical and vocational.
Apply with the minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skill in any of the specific fields in technical teacher education;
Demonstrate the higher-level literacy communication, numeracy, critical thinking, skill needs for higher learning.
Manifest a deep principled understanding of the learning process and the role of the teacher in facilitating these.
Show a deep and principled understanding of how education processes relate to large historical, social, cultural and political processes.
Apply a wide range of teaching process skills (including curriculum development, lesson planning, materials development, education assessment and teaching approaches).
Reflect on the relationships among teaching process skill, learning processing in the student, the nature of the content/subject matter, and other factors affecting educational process in order to constantly improve their teaching knowledge, skill and practices.
