conceptually or bring about interesting changes in their formal and technical choices

Re-interpretation involves changing art-making styles, styles of representation or art-making techniques.

As a creative strategy, a student might consider what they could communicate by employing more than one art-making form and technique or style of representation. As an intervention during an art-making process, re-interpretation could be experimented with to explore the potential of a change to better realize the artistic intentions for the artwork.
