Join us for a soulful and contemplative journey through dance. Whether you see yourself as an artist or not, this series — Pratima (Nayika Vesham) — invites you to experience, reflect, and connect through the expressive vocabulary of Indian classical arts used in a very contemporary context. This is part of a series of showcases as part of Pratima. We hope to stage Pratima as a full production in 2026. We do require funding and support from our patrons in order to make this a possibility.

About our Special Guest Artist - Rucha Muley Jambhekar
Rucha is a versatile musician with a powerful voice and an incredible range.Learnt under esteemed gurus like Smt Arati Ankalikar, Shri Appa Indurkar amongst others.
She runs a hindustani vocal music school in New jersey “Svar Naad school of music” in Manalapan where she is nurturing future generations of vocalistsApart from musical pursuit, Ruchajee was a physical therapist and decided to hang her coat for her devotion to the art form.
Rucha’s musical career gained recognition in 1993 at a tender age of 10 with the award of the top prize in a very competitive field, amongst all groups at Soor Sangam Sansthan, Jaipur. After coming to the United States, she won the prestigious BMM Swarangan Competition in 2011 & was amongst the top 20 contestants of Zee Sa Re Ga Ma 2012 . Recorded an original composition Ghana Vadan” composed by Dr Saleel KulkarniLead singer at an off Broadway production Music in my BloodRecently recorded an original Marathi Bhavgeet EP in New Jeresy.
She has excelled in prestigious musical conferences throughout India and abroad.A wonderful product of natural talent and guided musical nurture, Rucha remains a humble and self-effacing artist.
Apart from her musical pursuit, Rucha also has had a commendable academic career, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences.
