Dr. Nirmala Jeyaraj, M.Sc., PhD. is the former Principal (1996-08) of Lady Doak College, Madurai, India. She is a biologist, specialized in Molecular Biology and has more than three decades of teaching and research experience with several publications in national and international journals to her credit. Out of her rich experience in educational administration, she has written many articles and edited books on Higher Education, Women’s Studies, Environmental Education and Research Methodology. 

Currently as Secretary of Rev. Jacob Memorial Christian College and Treasurer of Christian Education Society founded by late Dr. Jacob Cherian, she is guiding the Christian group of educational institutions to offer quality education to the marginalized rural community in the Dindigul District of Tamilnadu, India.
