As an Assistant professor at LJ institute of engineering and technology i have taught Computer aided design in mechanical engineering undergrad students. I have conducted lectures, laboratory work and practical. In this subject students were introduced to computer aided graphics, geometrical transformation, and finite element analysis. Moreover, This subject laboratory has software application like ANSYS, Solidworks, Matlab.

This course aims to provide fundamental knowledge for analysis and design gear systems, Bearings, Internal Combustion engine components and cranes. Also, I have given students case study related to subject with open ended problem like define requirement of a machine tool, design a gearbox and gears for the same. Comparison of design with the one available in machine tool and reason differences. Design IC engine component and prepare a CAD model. Verify the kinematic performance of the assembly in CAD software.

To understand the principle and performance of vehicle in various modes such as longitudinal, vertical and lateral directions. At the end of the course the student are able to identify the various forces and loads and performance under acceleration, ride and braking.

In this subject, student get acquainted with to standardize the automobile part after designing the component like gear, gear box, piston, connecting rod, piston pin, crank shaft, valve mechanism, Cylinder liner, flywheel etc and to select the required bearing for same by considering the different design considerations. In addition to this course also contains case study of different automobile component and students are required to design them.
