This work describes to generate tool part families for Automatic Press break tooling in air bending. Task is to choose right tooling for requested sheet metal part which is one of the important factors. Bending tool needs to satisfy geometrical and material characteristic of work piece. Here we describe a systematic algorithm for synthesizing Die Punch shape that can produce maximum number of bend part in minimum numbers of tooling required. For that we have to develop Excel and Matlab based evaluation model. From that data we create parametric model of possible tools. From constrains we could modify shapes of the tools. Finally we perform FEA analysis to verify for force capacities. Then selecting proper optimization technique we could prepare exclusive chart for different types of tool combination on basis of basis of their angle radius and tonnage capacity.
