The central weenie for the land is the Mushroom Kingdom Carousel, a double-decker carousel themed around the iconic Mario series. Jutting out of the red-and-green canopy is a tall silver spire top with a large golden crown atop. Every five minutes or so, a figure of Mario can be seen popping out of the crown holding a Power Star. Very rarely, you might see Luigi pop out instead!
As one would expect, the "horses" are all various Mario creatures. Naturally, this includes Yoshi, but for those worried about having to rush to secure a spot on that inconic mount, don't worry. There are nine different Yoshis to ride, one for each color of Yoshi. Simular treatment is given to other mult-colored speicies, such as Koopas or Birbos, though to a lesser extent. Otherwise, most mounts are unique and range from mainstays like Dry Bones and Wigger (which is actually two seats linked together due to Wigger's unique build) to somewhat lesser know ones like Dolphin from Mario World and Plessie from 3D World to even characters from spin-off like Rambi from Donkey Kong Country and Polterpup from Luigi's Mansion.
Of course, no carousel is complete without the circus-esque music, and the Mario series provides no shortage of great tracks to pull from. Here are some of the tracks you could hear:
Overworld Theme (Super Mario Bros)
Underwater Theme (Super Mario Bros)
Athletic Theme (Super Mario World)
Inside the Castle Walls (Super Mario 64)
Isle Defino (Super Mario Sunshine)
Gusty Gardens Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Jump Up, Super Star (Super Mario Odyssey)
