About me

My research focuses on computer-based eco-hydrologic and water quality modeling, with an emphasis on: quantifying the impact of land use and land management practices and climate change in large, complex watersheds. My research work answers questions about global warming, and how it affects glacier melt and permanent storage of water in the Andes, Alps and Himalayas. I utilize big data from both observations and models, to understand how the extreme climate events has varied in the past, present, and how it impacts mountain snowpack, diffused pollution and crop production in the future.
