What if, instead of rushing from one sight to the next, you stopped to really see it?
What if you sketched ancient streets, tasted the food, met local artists and makers, and filled your journal with the things that caught your eye and your heart?
What if, somewhere along the Silk Route, you rediscovered the simple joy of creating?
This is Sketch & Savour - a slower, more creative way to travel.
Journeying through the Silk Route
Sketching makes us stop and really look. A market stall. The sweep of a minaret. The colours of a tiled dome. Through gentle guidance, creative prompts and encounters with local artists, we’ll capture Uzbekistan not simply as it looks, but as we see it.
We’ll linger over meals, wander ancient streets, meet local people and makers, discover bazaars and leave room for the unexpected. Because sometimes the best way to experience a place is simply to give it time.
Not your standard holiday.
Each day of Sketch & Savour is designed around a different way of noticing Uzbekistan - its markets, trees, architecture, patterns, food and people. Through simple demonstrations and creative prompts, we'll gradually fill an accordion sketchbook as we travel.
And because a memorable journey is shaped as much by the people beside us as the places around us, our tiny group of eight is deliberately hosted to create space for conversation, connection, solitude, laughter and shared discovery.
Ten days later, unfold your sketchbook - and your Silk Route story unfolds with it.

I'm Nina - an urban sketcher, portrait artist, and creative educator who believes some of the richest travel experiences happen when we stop trying to see everything, and start really seeing what's in front of us.
I've created Sketch & Savour Uzbekistan as the kind of journey I love myself: intimate, curious and unhurried - with time to draw, wander, eat, laugh and connect.
You don't need think of yourself as an artist. Just bring your curiosity and desire to sketch and savour Uzbekistan fully in your own way.
