NIMIT ("the app", "we", "our") is an astrology and divination app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
1. Information You Provide
When you use NIMIT, you may enter the following information:
Full name
Date of birth
Time of birth
Place of birth
Gender
This information is stored locally on your device only using AsyncStorage (React Native's on-device storage). We do not upload or store this data on our own servers.
2. Information Sent to Third-Party Services
When you request an AI-generated reading, your birth data is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC via their API to generate a personalized response. This data is processed according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy (anthropic.com/privacy). We do not store the content of readings on our servers.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment information is handled by Apple or Google and is never seen or stored by us. Subscription state is managed via RevenueCat (revenuecat.com/privacy).
4. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is transmitted to our servers.
5. Analytics and Tracking
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or behavioral tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
6. Children's Privacy
NIMIT is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
All personal data you enter is stored only on your device. To delete your data:
Use the "Clear Birth Data" option in the app's Settings screen, or
Uninstall the app from your device
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
