What a fantastic quilt show we had in October! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and entered quilts. It was a joy to

see all the creativity and camaraderie on display.

A few Mary Isbell Award nominations have already come in—thank you! If you’d like to nominate someone else, there’s still time. This special honor is given each year to one member who truly embodies our guild motto—“The Guild with a Heart.”

We’re also continuing to collect food donations for Messiah Lutheran Church. This month they’re focusing on Thanksgiving items such as stuffing mix, boxed macaroni and

cheese, green beans, corn, cornbread mix, and gravy mix. Your contributions help bless local families in need during

this season of gratitude.

Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.

The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.

Visitors are welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activities to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.
