A Message from our President

I hope you have all had a good holiday season and are looking forward to the new year. 

This guild has a rich history and I hope to honor that history with 2026 being a year to remember. Let's have fun learning and sharing our knowledge with one another.

 I'm going to be asking for ideas for the charity that would benefit most from our generosity. I have not lived here long enough to know where we can serve best. I've donated to Shriners hospitals many times personally as I owe them a huge debt for the work they did on my son 43 years ago. But I'd like your input also.

 I look forward to hearing your ideas for 2026, after all it is our guild and we should all be proud of the work we do.

Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.

The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.

Visitors are welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activities to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.
