A Message from our President

Welcome to the February newsletter, so far my messages are short and sweet. Maybe I'll get the hang of it.

I thought the January meeting went well and if you have suggestion for me please let me know I'm very open to any ideas you might have.

I'm excited to see what the February prestenor has to show us about panels. I've done 1 in the past and recently bought 6 of the same and cut them into pies. Basically I need serious help in this area. You might have some in your stash and wondering what is next.

Your board put their heads together and have come up with some ideas for this year and bring back some old traditions and come up with new things that we hope you will enjoy.

We still have some open committee chairs that we may want to fill. I'm very flexible if maybe we have burned out some ideas and need other options. Please feel free to make suggestions to me or at the meeting.

Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.

The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.

Visitors are welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activities to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.
