Thanks to Chuck and Korina, our Opportunity Quilt, "Let Freedom Ring" will be on display at Marietta's for the duration of the Carolina Shop Hop. The Shop Hop begins on July 16. I will get the Quilt set up, and we will need people to sit with the quilt and talk up the Upstate Warrior Solutions charity and sell quilt ticket

What a fun June meeting we had! Our Speed Dating activity turned out to be a wonderful way to get to know one another a little better. I thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to sit and chat with so many of our members. By the end of the evening , I'm sure some of the ladies knew a lot more about me than they ever expected to!
The laughter, conversations and connections made during the event reminded me what a special group we have. In fact, if we ever find ourselves in a pinch and need a program idea, I'll happily do Speed Dating again. It was simple, engaging and a great way to strengthen friendships within our guild.
I've also been busy collecting items for our upcoming auction and am excited about the possibilities. To help make the action a huge success. I'll love to have as many members as possible join me on July 21 at 1pm at my home, 26 Adams Manor Ct, Mauldin, SC 29662, to help build bundles of beautiful fabrics and auction packages. Many hands make light work, and it will be a fun afternoon spent together while preparing for one of our guild's important fundraising events.
Thank you to everyone who participated in June's activities and to those who continue to support our guild in so many ways. I look forward to seeing everyone at our July
meeting.

Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.
The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.
Visitors are welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activities to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.
