Literary Terms
During Teacher’s Day celebrations at the postgraduate level, the activities are not limited to traditional classroom teaching but extend into creative and digital platforms. Students are required to prepare educational videos and upload them on YouTube, where engagement such as likes and subscriptions also becomes part of the learning experience. As part of this process, Nikita created a video based on literary terms, explaining key concepts in an easy and engaging manner. The effort was recognized through a certificate, which reflected both academic understanding and digital presentation skills.
Along with this, classroom activities such as preparing charts were also carried out to visually represent concepts and enhance learning. These tasks helped in developing not only teaching abilities but also creativity, technical skills, and confidence. Overall, Teacher’s Day became an opportunity to experience teaching in a modern, interactive, and practical way.
As part of another academic activity, a second video presentation was prepared on Frantz Fanon’s The Wretched of the Earth. This task focused more on critical understanding and theoretical explanation, where complex ideas related to colonization, resistance, and identity were explored. Nikita presented the topic in a clear and structured manner, aiming to simplify challenging concepts for better understanding.
This presentation highlighted the ability to engage with serious literary and philosophical texts while using digital platforms effectively. The experience further strengthened analytical thinking and presentation skills, moving beyond basic concepts toward deeper academic interpretation. It also reflected a growing confidence in handling diverse literary topics through innovative and modern methods.
