Poetry Installation

House of Words is a unique, literary text installation trail located within the corridors and courtyard spaces of the Pathfoot Building at the University of Stirling. Launched in 2014, the ongoing initiative integrates literature with the building's modernist architecture. 

"House of Words celebrates the writers connected to the University of Stirling since its foundation in 1967. In this series of poems and quotations, we draw on the work of the Indian writers at Stirling who visit as part of an annual fellowship funded by the Charles Wallace India Trust.

The ‘House of Words’ text installations punctuate the corridors and courtyard spaces of the Pathfoot Building, reminding us of past fellows, and encouraging us to pause and spend time with the artwork and texts displayed in the Pathfoot Gallery". 

It has poems by Nikita Parik, Namita Gokhale, Arundhati Subramanian, and others.
