Nikita Parik

A Charles Wallace Fellow at the University of Stirling, Scotland (2023), Nikita Parik is an Assistant Professor of English at an Indian university, teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her third book, My City is a Murder of Crows (2022), was nominated for the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar (2023) and shortlisted for the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize (2022). She was also shortlisted for the Srinivas Rayaprol Poetry Prize (2024), which is jointly administered by Rayaprol Trust and the University of Hyderabad. While in the United Kingdom, she presented talks, readings, and workshops at SOAS University of London, University of Kent, and University of Stirling. She has a permanent poetry installation on a glass panel in the Central Crush Hall of the Category A listed Pathfoot building at the University of Stirling, Scotland.
