I am a direct Ph.D. student and Prime Minister's Research Fellow in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. I work under the supervision of Dr. Navaneetha Krishnan Ravichandran in the Nanoscale Energy Transport lab (NETLab), where my research focuses on investigating nanoscale heat conduction in ultra-high thermal conductivity materials using first-principles computations and non-contact optical experiments.

Prior to my current position, I obtained my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from MNNIT Allahabad in 2020. During my undergraduate studies, I worked with Prof. Abhishek Kumar from the Department of Applied Mechanics on "Finite Element Analysis and Mechanical Behavior of 316L Stainless Steel Processed by Room Temperature Rolling" in my sophomore year. In the following year, I completed a summer internship at IIT Kanpur (SURGE-2019), where I worked with Prof. Sameer Khandekar from the Department of Mechanical Engineering on "Exploring Spray Cooling for Thermal Management of High Power Electronic Devices". For my B.Tech. thesis, I worked with Prof. Ravi Prakash from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MNNIT Allahabad on "Designing an Eco-friendly Cooling System for a Hostel Building".
