Nikhil Kumar

Welcome! 

I am a PhD candidate in Public Policy (Economics track) at Harvard University. My research focuses on human capital and socioeconomic mobility in low- and middle-income countries.

I completed my Master of Arts in Economic Policy from Boston University (BU) and graduated with a Bachelor and Master of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.

I am a graduate student affiliate at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science, at the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute and at the Center for International Development at Harvard

Before starting my graduate studies, I have worked as an RA at CID, BU and NBER in the Boston-Cambridge area.
