About NIHGL

The NIH Golf League is a 9-hole coed league seeking new members for the 2018 season. The 9-Hole league meets after work and plays at Needwood Golf Course in Rockville on Tuesdays and Falls Road Golf Course in Potomac on Thursdays.

League consists of the following flights:

• A-Flight - Handicapped 0-10 for 9 holes
• B-Flight - Handicap 10-20 for 9 holes
• Non-competitive Flight - Open to any handicap

Scrambles:

• The season starts with an optional round of team scrambles mixing players from all three leagues in April and to end season in September

Spring Outing:

• Glenn Dale Golf Club—Glenn Dale, Maryland
• Saturday, April 28^th. Tee times starting at Noon. Boxed lunch included

League competition starts May 2nd and match play through the summer ending on September 13th.

Fall Outing: TBD

NIHGL Awards Banquet: TBD

The league reserves tee times generally from 4-4:48 p.m. and serves as a great social/networking opportunity to meet fellow NIH’ers and friends while improving your golfing skills.

Interested players need to join NIH 9-Hole Golf League then coordinate their preferred monthly playing schedules a couple of weeks in advance with their flight captain and the league treasurer—the rest is fun.
